RECEIVER FOR THE

BELL POTTERY CO.

Special to the Times

Columbus, Sept. 19. — The Bell Pottery Company of this city has passed into the hands of a receiver. The plant was built almost three years ago at a cost of $80,000 and a fine grade of china was manufactured.

A. S. Hughes ex-president of the National Brotherhood of Operative Potters was manager of the concern and a number of former East Liverpool and Trenton potters held positions with the firm.

The liabilities are said to be very little in excess of the assets and the shutdown may only be temporary.
