Novelty Glass Co. Plans.

Elmer, N.J., April 9 - The Novelty Glass Mfg. Co., of this place, are operating the old S. M. Bassett or Gilchrist Jar Co.'s plant, but are only doing experimental work, principally on insulators, which they are producing on a specially constructed machine. They also have a few Power presses which are operated in all three shops.

Mr. Ben Parker, who is the manager, explained that they did not propose to make any special effort this fire except to experiment, but by next season they hoped to get down to business. During the summer it is proposed to tear out the two old tanks which are both in bad shape, although they are only using one, and build one large continuous tank and also add a number of their improved machines for producing insulators and probably some other special lines.
