A $75,000 FIRE Throws 100 Men Out of Employment at East Liverpool.
East Liverpool, Jan. 20. — A $75,000 loss resulted and 100 men were thrown out of employment, when fire gutted the five kiln plant of the Trenle China company here today. The fire, starting in the kiln shed, spread to the clay shop, completely wiping out both departments. The company, which had been engaged in the manufacture of general ware and electric porcelain, will rebuild the plant. |
