Toledo. O., Dec. 21 — Reports that the Libbey Glass Manufacturing company recently acquired the H. C. Fry Glass company plant at Rochester, Pa., were confirmed late yesterday by J. W. Robinson, president of the Libbey company.

In a statement, Mr. Robinson said the capacity of the plant was acquired because of the unprecedented demand for new glassware. The Rochester plan [sic] plant consists of two continuous tanks an [sic] and three pot furnaces.
