NEWPORT.

Mr. J. C. Chambers exhibited a new method of protection against lightning last night, at the office of J. R. Hugle & Co., on York-st. Mr. Chambers has a good thing. It will no doubt do away with the lightning-rod men, and in that respect he will be a benefactor to the human race.
