An unknown person who sent a threatening letter to H. C. Fry, the veteran glass manufacturer and president of the H. C. Fry Glass Co., failed to respond to a decoy placed for him and police of Rochester, Pa., are searching for him. The letter sent to Mr. Fry demanded that $1,000 be placed near the Grace Lutheran church in Rochester on pain of death for refusal. The letter was shoved under the door of the Fry residence on March 4. A decoy package was placed near the tree on Sunday, but no one appeared to fall into the trap set by the authorities.
