Elmer (N.J.) Works Start.

The Novelty glass works at Elmer, N.J., started up on Thursday after an idleness of several weeks incident to repairs. During the shutdown the factory manager and Daniel Parker general superintendent, were busy supervising the improvements, one of which is a fine new furnace for the manufacture of insulators. Ninety men and boys are employed.

As soon as the factory gets in regular working older work will begin on the tearing away of the old furnace and the erection of a second new one, doubling the capacity.
