THE BUSHWICK GLASS WORKS, Brooklyn, E. D., N. Y., have no scarcity of orders. A handsome and substantial new brick building for glass house, 60x70 feet, is now nearly completed. These works are large, well arranged and fully employed in the production of vials, bottles, carboys, demijohn, insulators and green and black blown ware of every description. Two large furnaces are now running. The works cover an area of three and a half acres of ground, with a frontage of 1,000 feet. |
