Whitall Tatum Discontinues Caster Place Shops

DISCONTINUE CASTER PLACE SHOPS

It was reported from Millville, N. J., this week that the Whitall Tatum Co., glass manufacturers, had announced that the caster place department in the South Millville works would be discontinued at the close of the present blast. Machines are being installed in this department. Closing of this department will put a number of skilled workers out of employment there.
