Ironclad Insulators.

To the Editors of Electrical World and Engineer.

Sirs: Your editorial on "Insulators as Targets" interested me very much, as that is the form of trouble that I have so far been unable to do away with. Can you tell me if it is possible to buy the old style ironclad insulator now? I remember since reading your editorial having seen a few of them on corner and ridge irons in Boston in the early days of telephony, when there was no such thing as an exchange but numerous private lines.
