Mr. D. W. Brookfield, an uncle of Mr. William Brookfield the glass manufacturer of Brooklyn, was accidentally drowned in a lake at the Adirondack mountains last week, where he and his family had spent the summer. He had been confidential clerk in the office of his nephew for 15 years, was 65 years old and resided in Elizabeth, N. J., where the funeral occurred on Monday.
