MORE ACTIVITY AT MILLVILLE

Millville glass factories are making preparations to resume operations. Some factories have already started. However, no date for a resumption of the larger factories has been announced.

The Millville Bottle Co. started a factory on September 15. This concern operated until the middle of July. One factory at the Wheaton plant has been in operation.

Drying fires have been burning in a couple of factories at the upper works of the Whitall Tatum Co. for the past two weeks, but no date has been set for a resumption.

Fire was kindled under No. 12 factory at the South Millville plant of Whitall Tatume Co. on September 15, and it is possible that this factory will be started on the first of October.
