AGM to manufacture sheet glass

RECUPERATOR ORDERED

The Dominion Glass Co. of Canada, has ordered two Chapman-Stein recuperators to be applied to ten-foot revolving pot furnaces. These will be installed at their Point St. Charles factory. This company is already operating four Chapman-Stein recuperators in connection with revolving pots.

This type of recuperator is sold by The Chapman-Stein Furnace Co. of Mt. Vernon, O. It is now being used by practically every large company which is operating revolving pot furnaces. The advantages are a great saving in fuel and a much better control of temperatures. The temperature control is especially for revolving pots and results in greater production of first grade ware.
