INCREASED ACTIVITY MARKS NEW MANAGEMENT AT H. C. FRY GLASS CO. The trade will be interested to know that the recent changes in the management of the H. C. Fry Glass Co., table and oven ware manufacturers at Rochester, Pa., are resulting in a steady increase in output in both blown glassware and specialties. The Beaver Valley plant is operating at-capacity on day turn and additional shops are being hired for an increase in the near future. New officers of the H. C. Fry Glass Co. are H. C. Fry, president; W. H. Green, secretary and general manager; G. H. Gerwig, treasurer; G. Kenneth Fry, sales manager, and H. Skillman Fry, production manager. President H. C. Fry is the founder of the company and at the age of 85 still takes an interest in the operations. Actual management of both the factories and the office is in charge of Mr. Green, who has been connected almost continuously with the glass industry since graduating from high school. He is a practical glass man and has had a wide exerpience. Mr. Gerwig formerly was assistant cashier of the Western National Bank of Pittsburgh. G. Kenneth ("Ted") Fry formerly was with the sales department of the H. C. Fry Glass Co. |
