HENRY M. SHAW

HEADS BIG CONCERN

Of interest here is the announcement in the San Francisco Call and Post of April 13th, in which it is stated that Henry M. Shaw, president of the Shaw Insulator Company of Newark, N. J. and Dr. Lee deForest, president of the DeForest Radio and Telephone Company of New York, have acquired large interests in the Moorhead Laboratories, Inc. of San Francisco and will devote much of their time in the development of the latter concern. Mr. Shaw will be remembered by many residents as an official of the Y. M. C. A. of this city in 1888. He is the head of a concern at Newark which manufactures telephone and wireless supplies. He will be president of the Moorhead Laboratories, Inc. for the reorganization of which he is largely responsible. The latter concern is the largest factory in the world devoted to the manufacture of vacuum tubes.
