FIRE AT BRIAN POTTERY CO.'S PLANT.


Fire at the Brian pottery, Trenton, this week, did damage amounting to between $25,000 and $30,000. The damaged portion consists of the packing sheds, shipping room and office. The cause of the blaze is not known. The main portions of the pottery were saved by the firemen and operations may be resumed within a few days.

Matthew Platts, formerly manager of the Universal Sanitary Mfg. Co., New Castle, Pa., and later with the Pacific Sanitary Ware Co., of San Francisco, is manager of the plant. The burned portions will be rebuilt immediately.
