Ebbert-Hearne.

The Greenup street M. E. Church was well filled with an audience of the elite of the city, last evening, to witness the marriage of Mr. Edward T. Ebbert, a young insurance man of Cincinnati who resides on West Fourth street, this city, and Miss Mattie G. Hearne, the accomplished daughter of John D. Hearne, Esq., President of the Covington City National Bank. The floral decorations, by Mrs. Fairchild, were some of the most beautiful and artistically arranged of any ever displayed at a wedding in this city. The platform and the pulpit were covered with growing plants and flowers in baskets, and the pyramidal from which was given to the decorations was surmounted by a large horse shoe of tuberoses and white buds, in the center of which was suspended a lovely white dove. The gas fixtures were festooned with graceful vines and evergreens. The wedding party was on hand promptly at 6 o'clock. The ushers, four in number, Messrs. Will. Miller, Sam Tucker, Robert Gray and Richard Evans preceded the happy couple to the alter., where they were met by the pastor, Rev. Mr. Dobbins, who joined the bride and groom with the well-known ceremony of the church. The music of the occassion was excellent, and selected with Prof. Foley's usual taste. The wedding march from "Lohengrin" was beautifully played as the bridal party retired from the church.
