PYSICISTS VISIT CORNING GLASS WORKS

 

More than 200 members of the American Physical Society, attending the organization's annual convention in Ithaca, N. Y., visited the plant of the Corning Glass Works, Corning, N. Y., on June 18. In the principal address at a luncheon in honor of the visiting physicists Hon. Alanson B. Houghton predicted a new age of happiness through scientific achievement.
