TAYLOR ADDRESSES ROTARIANS ON RECENT EUROPEAN TRIP

Recent activities in the glass industry abroad were reviewed by William C. Taylor, chief chemist of the Corning Glass Works, Corning, N. Y., in an address August 7 before the Rotary Club of that city. Mr. Taylor, who only recently returned from a European trip, gave a most interesting account of his experiences.

In his address, Mr. Taylor dwelt particularly on the industrial development now going on in Russia, where a five year expansion program is under way, large numbers of plants being erected all over the country. Mr. Taylor also told of his trip to England, France, Germany and Italy, where he visited a number of leading glass factories.
