A. B. HOUGHTON GRANDCHILD KILLED

A vacation trip to Yellowstone National Park ended sadly for the family of Glen W. Cole, production manager of the Corning Glass Works, on August 15. Mr. And Mrs. Cole and two daughters, Phyllis and Adelaide, were making an automobile trip in the park when Phyllis, aged 10 years, was killed. Dashing from the car in which the Coles were riding to get a closer view of some deer, little Phyllis was struck and killed by another automobile. Mrs. Cole is the daughter of Alanson B. Houghton, former ambassador to Great Britain, and a sister of Amory Noughton, president of the Corning Glass Works. Funeral services were held August 19 in Corning.
