Banquet in Honor of for George Bacon Postponed

The date for holding a community banquet in honor of George S. Bacon, general manager of the Whitall Tatum Co.'s big bottle plant at Millville, N. J., has been postponed owing to the ill health of former Governor Edward C. Stokes, who left this week on a cruise to the West Indies for a short vacation with the hope of bringing about improvement. Mr. Stokes will be the principal speaker at the banquet on his return when all the necessary arrangements for the event will be completed by those in charge.

It will be recalled by our readers that Mr. Bacon recently completed a half century of active service with the Whitall Tatum Co., and the banquet is being arranged by the promoters to properly celebrate the long period of service.
