Mrs. Hemingray Dead.

 

Mrs. Mary Hemingray, widow of Robert Hemingray and mother of Mrs. Bradford Shinkle died yesterday mornin at her residence, 219 Garrard street, at the advanced age of 81 years. The deceased was a former resident of Covington, having lived there for over 50 years. She was a devout church member, and was noted for her kind acts of benevolence and charity.

Her maiden name was Carroll, she being a direct descendent from the original Carrolls of Baltimore, Md. Her husband was prominent for many years in business circles in this city, he being at the head of the Hemingray Glass Works. Five children survive her. They are Mrs. Willam Felix, Millersburg, Ky., Mrs. Bradford Shinkle, of this city, Mr. Ralph Hemingray, of Muncie, Ind., Mr. Robert, Jr., and Mrs. Daniel Hemingray, also of this city.
