ULSTER COUNTY PARTIES TAKING ADVANTAGE

OF THE BANKRUPT LAW.

William Wood, farmer, at Gardiner, Ulster county, has filed a voluntary petition in bankruptcy in New York, having liabilities amounting to about $5,000, of which $2,609.50 are secured. His assets consist of farm, stock and implements, valued at $1,095.

Marlon E. Deyo of Ellenville has filed a voluntary petition in bankruptcy in New York, having liabilities amounting to about $50,000. Among the creditors are the First National Bank of Ellenville, $8,990; Delaware & Hudson Canal Company, $2,588.73; Orange County National Bank of Goshen, $5,000. The bankrupt was an indorser for the Ellenville Glass Works. His assets are merely nominal.

George H. Smith also of Ellenville has gone into bankruptcy in New York. He has debts amounting to $91,000, a portion of which were for indorsements for the Ellenville Glass Works. The principal creditors are the First National Bank of Ellenville, $8,990; Home National Bank of Ellenville, $5,278; Orange County National Bank of Goshen, $5,000. His assets consist of real estate, $4,000 in equity; notes, $27,217.25; debts due, $5,179.46.
