Corning Celebrates Opening of New Pyrex Sales Office

CORNING GLASS WORKS CELEBRATES.

THE "Pyrex" sales division of the Corning Glass Works inaugurated the opening of its new office quarters at Corning, N. Y., on Thursday evening, June 22, with an informal reception and dance. The greatly increased sales of Pyrex Baking Ware have necessitated not only greater manufacturing facilities, but also larger office room for the executives and sales force. Over one hundred and fifty office employees, together with many heads of departments, participated. A collection was served by the company restaurant, and the Corning Glass Works Orchestra furnished music for dancing in the spacious office room, which was decorated with flowers and colored lights.
