Pyrex Sales Division Met for Semi-Annual Sales Conference

SALES CONFERENCE AT CORNING.

ON June 28, 29 and 30 the entire sales force of the "Pyrex" division of the Corning Glass Works met with the department managers at the factory office in Corning, N. Y. for the regular semi-annual conference. Will T. Hedges, manager of the "Pyrex" sales division, presided. Plans for extending the sale of "Pyrex" were formulated and an extensive advertising campaign for fall thoroughly studied. The newly created department of dealers' helps was explained, and much time was also spent in the works where each salesman could learn by observation how carefully each piece of "Pyrex" baking ware is handled, not only through each process of manufacture, but also in the inspection, packing and shipping departments.

The three day conference was completed with a dinner at the Corning Club on Friday evening, June 30, which also commemorated the birthday of the ware.
