BLAZE AT GREENWOOD POTTERY.

FIRE partly destroyed the Greenwood pottery, Trenton, N. J., July 29, entailing loss of $100,000. Owing to the fact that a $25,000 fire visited the same place three months ago there were rumors of incendiarism, but nothing could be found to substantiate this belief. The flames started in the engine room and communicated with the plate and jigger departments, where most of the damage was done. Owing to the unfavorable location of buildings the firemen had difficulty in fighting the flames.
