Good News From Marion.

MARION, IND., Nov. 20. — Marion is leading the road to prosperity, and all the glass houses are in full blast and all the men are working steadily and making full time.

Estep's new window house will resume in a week or ten days. The directors held a meeting last Friday and have come to the conclusion to start.

The Evans flint house is nearing completion, and Mr. Evans has advertised for 50 houses for the employes of his factory, and by the first of next month the blowers will commence to come to our city, and they will receive a hearty welcome.

There are rumors around that some parties are going to rebuild the Dithridge flint house. Now as our city is in a thriving condition, we would like to hear from some of our neighboring towns.

The Atlas (formerly the King City) glass house in Fairmount, Ind., is working in full blast, which adds another green house to the list.

So, wishing success to THE COMMONER AND GLASSWORKER, and with McKinley for protection we will place him in the white house at Washington as our next president in 1896.

Daniel Taylor and John Pastorious are here from Findlay, visiting friends for a few days.

Our friend John Fagan is feeling proud and wears his hat one side over the arrival of a big bouncing boy. The boys are waiting for the beer. Come John, and do the fair thing; we are all dry.

Our noble manager, Martin Burke, is wearing a bright smile and a proud thought over the arrival of a bright bouncing girl. We are all waiting for the cigars. —   READER.
