Fairmount Items.

FAIRMOUNT, IND., April 15 - The McCullough [sic] McCulloch & Wilson fruit jar factory seems to have a great deal of trouble in getting sand outside of that everything is going along all right.

The Fairmount glass works restarted last Monday, and will run both shifts in a short time. Their glass is all silver clear and the plant well managed.

The Atlas glass works was partly destroyed on the night of April 9 by fire.

John A. Pastorius, from Pittsburg, is working here, and everybody in town knows it. Pass will have a new suit in 10 days; then we hope he will be more successful in getting a girl. The poor fellow can't get a smile.
