Fairmount's Green Glass Houses.
FAIRMOUNT, IND., April 29 - You have been informed of the fire at the Atlas, which caused a lay off of a couple of weeks. They are now cleaning up the wreck, and will probably start again next week.
The Fairmount glass works have started with four shops, and are filling up gradually; will likely have their number (eight shops) in a couple of weeks.
The old Dillon (now McCullough [sic] McCulloch & Wilson's) is forging right ahead as though the Democrats were already knocked out, and we think they are.
Bros. Denny Hayes and Gep Sahner were welcome visitors to our city recently. Come again, brothers.
The Big Four Window Glass Co. moves right along and does not seem to know what stopping means.
The trade in general is picking up right along. - G.B.D.
