LOS ANGELES, June 30th. — The Agricultural Park and Main street Railroad will be opened to-morrow, the cars running from the city to Washington Gardens.

The contract for the construction of a telegraph line between Los Angeles and Santa Monica has been let by the Independence Railroad Company to the Electrical Construction and Maintenance Company of San Francisco.

The records show an unprecedented issuance of marriage licenses of late.

Steps are being taken by our French citizens to raise a fund for the relief of their countrymen, sufferers by the late floods in France.

The twenty-eighth mile of track is now completed out of Spadra, on the San Bernardino line of the Southern Pacific Railway.

The Los Angeles Hassar Cavalry will convene on Saturday next to perfect their organization.

The weather is moderately warm.
