Boston, Dec. 5. — The threatened act of expulsion by the Massachusetts Medical Society of homeopathic practitioners from the society, had been postponed for further consideration until April next.
A grand fair in aid of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals opened to-day at Horticultural Hall.
A northwest gale prevailed all day, blowing down chimneys and damaging unfinished buildings. The chimney of the Bay State Glass Works, at Cambridge, was overturned, and crushed through the iron roof, causing serious damage.
