Blaze in Lumber Drying Establishment.

 

Boston, March 16. - The old Bay State Glass house building, a three story brick structure on Bridge street, Cambridge, occupied by Geo. E. Baxter, as a lumber drying kiln, was burned this morning and its contents practically ruined; loss $25,000; partially insured. L. G. Burnham's coal sheds and wharves abut on the glass house were in great danger, but were saved with only a slight scorching.
