Jun 24, 1920 : Smith-Phillips wins lawsuit for manufacture of porcelain nail knobs against Parker Porcelain

J. T. Smith, head of the Smith-Phillips China Co., with others here interested in the manufacturing of an electric porcelain nail knob, has won a long-fought battle in the United States courts for the protection of a patent right. The original suit was filed against the Parker Porcelain Co., of Parkersburg, W. Va., and the fight continued through five years.
