Under a decree of the United States Court for the western district of Michigan in favor of Albert Keep, Chester Warner and Jeptha H. Wade, the Michigan & Lake Shore Road extending from Allegan to Muskegon, and its branches to Muskegon and Grand Haven, will be sold on the 19th of next month. It is thought that the transfer will hasten the completion of the road east from Allegan over the Monteith cut-off to Battle Creek and afford a connection with the steamers of the Grand Haven line.
