The Corning Glass Company, Corning, N. Y., will erect a new power plant at a cost of $250,000. In the operation of its new factory at Kingston, Tenn., the company has trained many local men, first sending a number to the main plant at Corning to gain experience. It is the policy of the "Pyrex" people that the Kingston plant shall be operated with local help as far aas possible.
