Following an indefinite idle period, the Corning Glass Co. has resumed operations at Corning, N. Y., according to word received in this district by department store buyers. Department stores hereabouts are making special features of Pyrex cooking glass, and it is taken to indicate that activity at the factory is occasioned by increased demand.
