A meeting of the Western Association of Flint Vial and Bottle-makers was held Tuesday at the Burnet House, Cincinnati, with President J. S. Hamilton, of Pittsburg, in the chair, and F .J. Park, of this city, as Secretary. There were present J. T. Gorsuch, of the Kearns-Gorsuch Glass Company, Zanesville; W. Eliot Smith, Alton, Ill.; and representatives from Bellaire (Ohio) Bottle Company; North Wheeling Glass Company, Wheeling, W. Va.; W. McCully & Co., Pittsburg; Thos. Wightman & Co., J. T. and A. H. Hamilton, W. H. Hamilton & Co., Pittsburg; Maring, Hart & Co., Bellaire, Ohio; Hemingray Glass Company, Muncie, Ind.

The meeting was called to take action on an increase in the cost of raw material. After a brief discussion it was decided to advance the price in finished goods to equal the change in the first named.
