Corning Glass Co. Will Close

400 men will be thrown out of work when the plant of the Corning Glass Co., Wellsboro, Pa., closes on April 15. Announcement of the closing of the plant, the date of which is tentative, was recently made by officials of the company, who declined to make any statement concerning the shutdown except to say that the plant will not be dismantled.
