Jenkins Glass Tank Bursts
50 men employed at the Jenkins Glass Co., Arcadia, Ind., were idle recently as the resut of an accident which occurred when the large tank burst. The fact that the break was gradual probably prevented the loss of a number of lives, the men being given an opportunity to get out of the danger zone in time. The tank has a capacity of 160 tons. A year ago the same tank burst. At that time it took eight weeks to make the necessary repairs.
