RECEIVER FOR PERU

ELECTRIC MANUFACTORY.

PERU, Ind., June 3. — The Peru Electric Manufacturing company has gone into the hands of a receiver as a matter of safety for creditors, with Charles G. Burton (manager) as such receiver. The action was brought by the Citizens' National bank, of Peru. The assets of the company exceed the liabilities, but, owing to the financial depression there is difficulty in obtaining loans, hence those interested in the concern wish to guard against possible difficulties and therefor asked for a receiver.
