NEW GLASS FACTORY

FOR BIRMINGHAM

The Birmingham Glass Manufacturing Co. has been formed to erect a $400,000 factory at Birmingham, Ala., for the manufacture of glass products and bottles. The new enterprise was organized by Alabama and New York capitalists. The company has obtained a building site on land said to contain several million tons of silver sand. The officers of the company are Solomon W. Quinn, president, New York; H. C. Bryson, vice president, New York, and E. E. Owen, secretary, Birmingham.
