One of the striking catalogues of the year is that just issued by the Knapp Electrical Works, 54 and 56 Franklin St., Chicago. The engraving on the cover and throughout the catalogue is finely executed and as fine plate paper is used in the printing, the catalogue is an excellent specimen of the printer's art. The subject matter is chiefly appliances for incandescent lighting, and the pamphlet is a price list as well as a catalogue. The Knapp company handles a line of leading specialties covering everything in the incandescent lighting field, and these specialties are all shown iu this catalogue, and include wires for different purposes, switches of all kinds and in great variety of style, size and make, cut-outs, branch blocks, sockets, test instruments, batteries, brackets, transformers. Perkins incandescent lamps, etc. Such a catalogue as this is quite invaluable as a reference book and from its attractiveness should be in the hands of all users of incandescent lamps. This company has just adopted a trade-mark which is used for the first time in this catalogue. It is the Chicago shield with the terra cotta and white colors.
