THE MICA INSULATOR COMPANY was incorporated on the first day of March at Elizabeth, N. J., the authorized capital stock being $100,000, all paid in. The plant of the company is located at Schenectady, N. Y., while its office and sales room will be at 218 Water street, New York City. The officers are Eugene Munsell, president. Franklin Brooks, vice-president, and Lewis W. Kingsley secretary and treasurer. The company will manufacture micanite for electrical insulation, a description of which appeared in these columns recently. Through a process controlled by this company small scrap mica is now utilized in all forms and shapes for insulating purposes where sheet mica was formerly used, the cost being less and it is claimed with no diminution in efficiency.
