China Switches.
The switch shown in the cut was designed for use in residences where handsome appearance is a great desideratum. The handle, cover and base are made of English ivory china. Switches of this type are made in all colors, to match wall paper and felts. One noticeable feature is that the cap screws on the base with

a thread cut in the china. It is claimed that the switches will always present a fine appearance, as the china cover will not tarnish when exposed to atmospheric changes. They are introduced by H. T. Paiste of Philadelphia.
