BUSINESS.

The Electric Appliance company, Chicago, reports a number of recent orders tor the new Hammond porcelain cleat which it has been introducing to the western trade. Its peculiar merit consists in the fact that it is only one piece of porcelain but at the same time holds the wire away from the wall or ceiling like an insulating knob instead of clamping it against the surface.
