Knapp Electrical Works Closed.
The Knapp Electrical Works at 271 and 273 Franklin street, Chicago, were closed by the sheriff on Monday, August 27th, on a judgment by confession for $29,834 in favor of Frederick M. Knapp. The judgment was given on a note executed September 18, 1893, payable on demand. Myron A. Knapp is the president of the company, and the money was advanced by his father. The company has done a large business, and it is said that the assets equal the liabilities, the closure being due to slow collections and a sudden demand on the company for money.
