Knapp is being extended constantly

Business Mention. · · The proprietors of the Knapp Electrical works state that the white-core wire lately furnished to the Colonnade hotel in Philadelphia, has behaved so nicely that the hotel people have written offering their congratulations upon the exceedingly good results shown. The Knapp Electrical works are the agents for this wire, which is manufactured by the New York Insulated Wire company, and are selling large quantities of it throughout the west. It may be added that the Knapp Electrical works are doing an excellent business in all departments. Their factory facilities are being extended constantly. A year or so ago this concern was in rather limited quarters on Randolph street, Chicago. To day they occupy entirely a large four-story and basement building on Franklin street, and do not find their present quarters at all too large for their requirements. Besides being general supply dealers, they pay particular attention to special manufacturing, and taking everything together, their business now is assuming handsome proportions.
