KOKOMO GOAL-TEND'S ELOPEMENT

WITH SOCIETY GIRL

HAS HAPPY SEQUEL.

Conductor Edward Alexander, in charge of the Louisville train that arrives in this city in the afternoon, had as a passeneger [sic] passenger Mrs. Hemingray, of Muncie. Mrs. Hemingray took the train at Louisville and came to Kokomo, where a reconciliation was effected with her daughter, Mrs. Dave Cusick.

At the time Cusick, the Kokomo goal tend, eloped with Miss Susan Hemingray, the parents of the bride refused to recognize the marriage and disowned their daughter, Cusick planned the elopement when he learned that Mrs. Hemingray had determined to take her daughter to Hot Springs for the winter. After the elopement the mother went South alone and her daughter went to Kokomo with her husband.

After three months' deliberation Mrs. Hemingray wrote her daughter that she wished to come and see her and her husband. She came direct from Hot Springs. She is very wealthy.
