The Electrical Appliance Company reports a number of nice orders for the new Hammond porcelain cleat, which they have been introducing to the western trade. Its peculiar merit consists in the fact that it is only one piece of porcelain, but at the same time holds the wire away from the wall or ceiling like an insulating knob instead of clamping it against the surface. The price is also very reasonable.
