Frederick A. Duggan, the former superintendent of the Trenton China Co. and to whose skill that company owed its large volume of business, has bought the pottery formerly occupied by the Dowd Bros. as a stilt works, and has begun the making of hard porcelain for electricians' specialties and thin table china. He is probably the only man in this country who was successful in making thin china. Its production will be a prominent feature of the new works, which will be known as the Imperial China Works. He has three kilns and will employ about 100 persons.
